Re: Ripping with Two drives
I use two drives myself, at the same time, and yes it can be problematic at times. To date I haven't decided if there is an actual MakeMKV issue, a Linux issue, a LibreDrive or firmware issue, or a simple mechanical one from having two drives above/below each other spinning for an extended period of...

Re: Cartoon movies often have multiple versions - Easy way to find the right one to keep?
Another thing I've noticed is often times the different versions don't include the same audio languages, so you can often identify what you're after by just expanding the titles in MakeMKV and keeping an eye on that. Also, for Disney titles -- and often Disney-owned -- the discs are all mastered the...

Re: BD Drive won't rip DVD or Blu-rays all of a sudden
This is completely anecdotal based on my observations; I use Linux Mint, latest version of the XFCE edition. I already disabled it via Sdf_Stop, but perhaps I'll re-enable it later on w/ a debug log to reproduce the issue. Before disabling it I had noticed that... The short and sweet of it is it wor...

Re: Blu-ray rip succeeds with 1.15.0, fails with 1.15.1 and .2
I've had this issue with a couple different anime releases as well (bearing in mind that I use makemkv for a TON of anime and not much else, so I doubt "anime" has anything to do with anything). I have the same drive. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Libredrive because one thing...

Re: Incredibles 2 BD
Try cleaning the disc. That happens to me sometimes even on brand new, directly out of the package, discs. Being from Redbox, I'd say the likelihood of that being the problem jumps about a million percent.

Re: 1.14.0 gets stuck during “analyzing seamless segments”
We're having the same problem over in the Incredibles 2 thread for the UHD disc. Though for that one, I can't get 1.12.3 to read it either.

Re: Incredibles 2
Same. The previous version, 1.12.3, does a little better for me but still ultimately fails. Does it work for anyone else, or a version before that one?

Re: Hashed Key Thread Updateing Notifications?
If you just want a cron job I use this small bash script to do just that: #!/bin/bash -x URL1=$(curl --silent 'https://www.makemkv.com/forum/app.php/feed/topic/16959' | grep tinyupload | sed 's/ /\n/g' | grep '^href.*tinyupload' | sed 's/href="//;s/"//') URL2=$(curl --silent -c cookies.txt...

Re: [REQUEST] file split by chapters
An older thread, but I felt the need to correct the earlier post. You can absolutely split by chapters with mkvmerge, it's supported it for years -- I do it all the time. mkvmerge -o output.mkv --split chapters:all input.mkv You can also do it like: mkvmerge -o output.mkv --split chapters:10,15,20 i...

Re: Miss Peregrine - BD+ Process no FUT
Well if you get impatient waiting for an update like I did, you can do a trial of AnyDVD HD and use that to rip the disc to your hard drive (I did it to a folder), then select that as your source in MakeMKV. If you haven't trialed AnyDVD before just download it's latest version from redfox and it'll...

Yeah, though I don't think the problem is related to Streetlock itself. Maybe a new BD+ protection?

Re: Slight confusion between different software types and us
For the most part you can. The only thing *AnyDVD can help with is Sony DADC Screen Pass protection, in which it can tell you which title to pick when using MakeMKV (my understanding is most of the time, but its not perfect). A lot of people instead simply google the name of their movie + "whic...

Re: Problem with July key / 1.10.0 version
Actually, I'm not sure that's correct. My version expires Oct 10th, but that's not the same as the license. The key from the thread enables additional "shareware" functionality (ripping from protected BDs for instance).

Re: Problem with July key / 1.10.0 version
Also, there's re-installing the latest download; it usually includes a key, which could have a later expire than the one in the beta thread. In this case, it looks like the OS X download has a key that expires Oct 10. Well that's cool. Hopefully he'll update the key in the thread for us poor linux ...
