Everynow and then I check if there is a new version of MakeMKV to try.
and I download the latest key.cfg
from over here.

Is there something in the DUMP that matches an entry to the key.cfg format?
that I could search or grep for?

I tried when I first came here (dah forums) I will try again. to clarify I drop in in the same directory that the DUMPS occur. like for me its a data directory like this. C:\Users\<username>\.MakeMKV originally I read in the directory the binaries are installed. Then I read the directry the dumps ge...

Did you submit the file generated to svq@makemkv.com to be processed and a key generated? No I have now...thank you. Assuming you've enabled downloading necessary keys, of course... > Really not sure I do not see such a setting in preferences. > Is it hidden in registry keys or a config file?

MakeMKV fails with.
Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT PRESENT

Forget it...you guys took too long.

I got it by copying it to another DVD using ImgBurn and then importing it with MakeMkv.

I am trying to extract data from a Canon mini-DVD-R. I have extracted previous disks before using editing software...the editing software does not work on windows 10. The disk plays fine in the Windows 10 DVD player program. I have had enough good luck with this product to purchase it. Yes I cleaned...
