Same issue of not recognizing that a disk is in the drive....

Drives:
ASUS BW-16D1HT - Does NOT work
LG-WH16NS60 - Does NOT work
LG-BU40N - Does NOT work
Pioneer - BDR-XD05 - DOES work! (Old-School Drive; 2015)

I wonder what is different with this hardware???

Use the 5.2GB file with "Segment map: 2-18" and "Duration: 1:48:56."

Have the same errors... yes the disk is very clean.

Remove the first "DD Surround 5.1 English" audio track right below the Rocketman title (after you expand the Rocketman 34.6 GB title).

New discs. I did clean the first disc, but it looked to be brand new. It also played fine in PowerDVD and VLC. I actually tried a second disc of the same movie thinking it was just the disc - but also a no go. The log file I provided was the second disc that failed.

On the Red version it appears to be (File name: title05.mkv).

I converted King Arthur Legend of the Sword and while the first 7.1 audio track had no sound the second track did. I have a number of 7.1 audio tracks including DTS-X and Dolby-Atmos that play fine but for some reason this one didn't. Anyone have that issue? I'm using the latest makeMKV you ...

I'm using the same version (v1.10.6) and had no issues. Make sure you have "Allow contacting web server for updates" checked off under "View" then "Preferences" then the "General" tab.
