Re: Top Gun:Maverick Blu Ray won't decrypt
I had a copy from Walmart, 38.4GB main feature that I was able to copy with 1.17.2. I will admit that I had a very hard time just getting the drive to read the disk at all but eventually got it working after cleaning the surface a couple of times.

Re: Harry potter titles? Which one?
While idk about this disk specificly, I can say for certain that with Disney movies they in are different languages. You may not even notice it if the audio defaults to English but things like the title, credits, etc might be in another language. Some of the Pixar ones go even further with scenes th...

Linux download failing in Chrome.
The forum runs on https only. The linux makemkv download links are http. Chrome refuses to follow the links because it's an http download on an https page.
The workaround is to copy and paste the URL.

Re: Why Do I Need a Beta Key to Rip DVDs?
Your DVDs/BDs will not explode or run away in the small timeframe you have to wait for the key to be updated by Mike. Speaking as someone who's found during this backup process that a large number of my discs have rotted and are unreadable...not necessarily true. I had an entire series of a show I ...

Re: Why Do I Need a Beta Key to Rip DVDs?
The 30-day BD limitation is definitely there; I hit it when I was using the beta key eons ago. You have to re-enter the beta key to reset it. If you rip a BD the first day a beta key is issued, 31 days after that, you'll have to re-enter the same key. Here I am waiting for the beta key to update so...

Re: makemkvcon 1.9.10 not up to date
So you are saying makemkv uses a different keystore than makemkvcon? I've never had to put the key in 2 different places. I always put it in the UI and it worked for the command line version.

makemkvcon 1.9.10 not up to date
I updated to 1.9.10 as well as the key the other day. I have no problems with the UI version of makemkv. I have a script I use to rip that uses makemkvcon, but this gives me this error: MSG:1005,0,1,"MakeMKV v1.9.10 linux(x64-release) started","%1 started","MakeMKV v1.9.10 l...
