 Start with cleaning the disk. There is a problem that your drive can't read parts of it. Is the LG drive plugged into a USB2 or USB3 port? If it's plugged into a USB2, it may not be getting sufficient power to operate at high speeds. Many drives will work fine on "just" USB2 power at low ...
