Re: MakeMKV 1.10.6 build on Debian 9 (Stretch) - FIXED

Good info.
Yes, Debian 9 Stretch is asking to install zlib1g-dev.

This is what i use on my Debian 9 KDE to install Makemkv.

apt install build-essential pkg-config libc6-dev libssl-dev libexpat1-dev libavcodec-dev libgl1-mesa-dev zlib1g-dev qttools5-dev

Re: This application version is too old.... Paid License

I have MakeMKV 1.10.0 64-bit on my Debian Jessie and it works like charm.

Have you enter that paid lisence key to MakeMKV?

Go to your home directory.

Hit Ctrl+H for hidden files. --> .MakeMKV --> settings.conf

Find line app_Key = "paste_your_key_to_here"

Re: V. 1.10.0 - Every Disc now has same error

I get this sometimes on some DVD's. Even if they are new and cleaned by hand, water and "Astianpesuaine". I don't know what that is in English... Dictionary say it is "washing-up liquid" Some discs sounds that they are spinning faster than another. Also some discs have longer rea...

New Beta key works very well on older version too. Just tested that on Debian, with 1.10.1 key and 1.9.10 MakeMKV :)

Re: makemkvcon 1.9.10 not up to date

So you are saying makemkv uses a different keystore than makemkvcon? I've never had to put the key in 2 different places. I always put it in the UI and it worked for the command line version. No, same key should work.. I was read too fast this, without understandig. There is. In this forum, thousan...

Re: makemkvcon 1.9.10 not up to date

I updated to 1.9.10 as well as the key the other day. I have no problems with the UI version of makemkv. I have a script I use to rip that uses makemkvcon, but this gives me this error: MSG:1005,0,1,"MakeMKV v1.9.10 linux(x64-release) started","%1 started","MakeMKV v1.9.10 ...

Re: new version won't run

In Linux based OS you can do: Makemkv--> Help-->Register-->"Enter registration code" or Go to your home directory (Show hidden files), open .MakeMKV directory --> settings.conf, app_key = "license_key_here" On KDE Plasma desktop: Dolphin, (press Alt+. for show hidden files)--> .M...
