Re: Recommendation for best (most reliable and versatile) LibreDrive for 2024?

It seems from this forum that there is no easy way to get a ready to go drive here in the USA. Am I missing something or is there a drive for sale in a store ...

Thanks, dcoke22. I don't have a licence. Where can I find information about buying one? I don't see anything on the website.

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2024

I recently bought an external Verbatim drive to hopefully play 4k blu ray discs, it didn't work. I have read various threads/posts that discuss friendly UHD drives, and even offer lists! However having read through various posts it suddenly occurred to me that my current blu ray reader/writer might...

I used the SDFToolflasher and got this error code. Do you know what this means?
Thee guide recommends...

WH16NS40 on any Firmware directly to > WH16NS60 1.02MK

Download the 'all you need firmware pack' & extract 'HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936.bin'. Flash that.

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2024

Hello, the modified SDFtool Flasher you propose on the first page of this thread give a strange error message when I start it. "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." After which I have a button to have more details which give wall of text, (Sorry, my computer being in Fre...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2024

What is the most recent guide for flashing a WH16NS40 drive? I haven't done it in several years and my old drive just died and purchased a new one. 1st post of THIS very topic is routinely maintained & current. Replete w/ recommendations for FW for each drive, links to tools, instructions/video...

Hi, Will these models from Pioneer forever be blocked from being able to flash, or is work being done by people to crack the firmware? The models from 2024 I’m writing about. Which of the thousands of words am I supposed to be paying attention to? There are old versions, then something that says "New!" and it's so hard to understand what is going on. The flasher is clearly outlined, however, I click on the LG link and they specifically say it's not for a slim ...
