It was the external drive. Bought a new one and now everything is working OK. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks - tried it and it reset MakeMKV and allowed me to rip another version of The Assassin. Same problem though. Video rips fine but no sign of the audio track.

Anyone any ideas?

Any ideas how to rip The Assassin? I tried yesterday and got the disc to open but there was no audio (I've checked in VLC and there is no audio track) - video track is OK though.
