hm... i am running Mac OS X...
i did a "tail -f *" in /var/log while starting makemkv... nothing. So it looks like this is not the right place to look for the log...

Hi there, i have a similar problem. 1.9.9 was running fine till last week. i tried to update 1.9.10 without success. 1.9.10 was nat starting. i found this thread an tried it out. but this is not working for me. right now i have the situation that no version (1.9.8, 1.9., 1.9.10) is stating anymore. ...
