Thank you both for your help!! I had forgotten that the email came from avangate. We're up and running again!

I recently had to wipe my C drive and reinstall windows. I was running a paid version of makemkv but upon reinstall it has reverted back to evaluation version. Is there a way to reactivate the paid version or do I have to purchase it again?

Officially a false positive from Avira. Hopefully they'll add the program as an exception. I would imagine that it's a false positive. I wouldn't think that MakeMKV would intentionally push out a malicious file. Avira identifes 1.9.10 as containing a virus:

"Setup_MakeMKV_v1.9.10.exe containing the pattern 'HEUR/APC (Cloud)' was blocked."

Can someone explain this?
