I've seen this. Don't recall exactly, but two things stand out: Move your existing /usr/local to /usr/local.orig. This will keep that ffmpeg ignored. make sure you remove any other ffmpeg, eg rpm -qa | grep ffmpeg... Download ffmpeg snapshot to /tmp. Follow the linux compile instructions specific to...

I am having this issue too, but on Linux with 1.9.10. Two identical LG sata drives and an usb.

See you resolved this already, but since I'm currently re-building on Linux I thought I'd post a couple notes in the hope it helps someone. 'ldconfig -p" | grep libavcodec may help you find libavcodec You can hack around this with symlinks typically, eg: [botazefa@botazefa]$ ls -l /lib64/libavc...
