It's a powered drive on a Y cable, plugged into both a charger and a normal USB port. I've ripped every Blu-ray in my collection (hundreds) and the only ones that fall over are this A-Team and Skyfall, which incidentally crops up here as well: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=63...

Sorry to resurrect this thread. I'm getting the same with the A-Team (only played once - no damage). When doing a full disc backup I get the following:
