Hello All, "Open DVD files manually" is NOT in the "Files" pull-down menu UNLESS you have turned on in preferences - General tab - Expert Mode! This is not stated anywhere I've found in email and documents referenced to me.
Still love your product, thanks for responding to my request for assistance.

Hello, When I watch the dvd in a player the first 6m12s plays through with the movie. When I play the rip it is missing and not in any of the parts ripped. How can I assist you to investigate ? TY

Hello again, thank you so much for your comprehensive answer. In the meantime I had ripped the disk using my external Pioneer BDR-209M in Bytecc case (plugged in to wall). Error results below. Im not positive the offsets are close, I don't understand the size relation for offsets...

Hello, MakeMKV is used first to rip a .mkv of the source THEN HandBrake is run using "High Profile" with container set to mkv. This combination has made wonderful files. You can also create a profile in HandBrake to reuse. Sometimes in HandBrake I have to set the Horizontal size to 720 at the start ...

Don't limit yourself by connection. you can use a case on internal drives to match many interfaces. BYTECC is what I use.

Hello, I use a Pioneer BDR-209M now and used a BDR-206 previously. Pioneer has a good rep as far as I know and I've experienced no problems with them specific to the drive. GL
