Dexter New Blood - exact episode lengths?
I ripped Dexter New Blood so I could watch it using Plex, but seem to have gotten the episodes out of order. I don't want to spoil the show since I haven't watched it yet... can anyone tell me what order these files should be in based on their length? 1 - 51:12 2 - 52:26 3 - 57:14 4 - 58:16 5 - 57:3...

Re: Main Feature identification failing more often?
When a guess is wrong 10%, 5%, or even 1% of the time, then unfortunately this means the guess is unusable. There might as well be no guess, because who wants to rip a movie and then find out later it's a bad rip? If it were simply labeled "GUESS" when it's not known with 100% certainty, t...

Main Feature identification failing more often?
Is it just me, or is the Java identification of a blu-ray's main feature failing more often than before? Just recently, I ripped Jexi (2019) and Anna (2019), and both of them were incorrectly identified by MakeMKV. I'd almost prefer MakeMKV didn't even try to ever "guess" at the main featu...

Re: Anna (2019) - Which Playlist?
Any word on this for the past 30 days? Netflix's 757 is definitely not the correct playlist.

Re: Rambo - Last Blood Playlist
Just thought I'd point out that MakeMKV 1.14.7 auto-identifies the wrong playlist for this movie. The correct playlist for Redbox (according to this thread) is 270, and it looks like that's the correct one for Netflix too.

Re: Close Encounters of the Third Kind Blu-Ray
I just did a Google search for the director's cut of the movie, found it on Amazon, and sure enough, it's 2:17. So thanks!

Close Encounters of the Third Kind Blu-Ray
There are three tracks on the Netflix Blu-Ray. I'm curious what the difference is... or is this just playlist obfuscation? Usually obfuscated playlists have a lot more playlists - this is only three. But there is no obvious choice - all three have unique (and believable) durations. Google reports 2:...

Re: Rip successful only when I clicked start immediately
It isn't happening with multiple discs. It was just that one disc. I've seen in other threads that people have had problems with GOT season 8 4K, so I understand the disc probably leaves something to be desired when it comes to quality. But evidently the quality of the disc was high enough that it w...

Rip successful only when I clicked start immediately
I mentioned this in a recent post about Game of Thrones 4K, but I felt this issue needed a separate thread since this appears to be a MakeMKV issue and not a disc or drive issue. In a nutshell, I was able to successfully rip a GOT 4K disc only because I clicked on the start button very quickly. If I...

Re: Game of Thrones Season 8 4K Blu-ray (Triple-Layer Issue)
And to add to the weirdness... Before totally giving up on this disc, I decided to see what would happen if I started the ripping process super quickly, before MakeMKV had a chance to remove all of the disc information (as I describe above). The ripping process finished, and both episodes ripped SUC...

Re: Game of Thrones Season 8 4K Blu-ray (Triple-Layer Issue)
I just thought it was odd that MakeMKV already successfully retrieved the disc's information, but 15-20 seconds after it was retrieved and displayed, MakeMKV took it away. This is the first time in 5 years of using MakeMKV I've seen such strange behavior. If the disc is bad, why would it even bring ...

Re: Game of Thrones Season 8 4K Blu-ray (Triple-Layer Issue)
I loaded disc 2 (GOT season 8 4K) into 1) my LG WH16NS40 (firmware 1.02), *AND* also tried my ASUS BW-16D1HT, both produced the same freaky result. I put the disc into the drive, I click on the big MakeMKV icon to tell it to read the disc, and after it finishes reading it, the track list shows up ju...
