How do I rip a title WITHOUT the video stream?
I ripped a title with video stream and audio stream, but not the subtitle stream. Lately I decided it would be nice to let my backup also include the subtitle. Of course, rip everything again and combine them does the trick but ripping the video stream costs hours (riplock). Can I uncheck the video ...

Good lord. After some serious Googling, I found that I can tell MakeMKV to make use of KEYDB.cfg.
Long story short. Go http://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/ and download KEYDB.cfg. Put it under ~/.MakeMKV. ~/MakeMKV can be changed in MakeMKV settings.
I wish more people see this with the same problem.

MakeMKV or any other tool aimed to create an .mkv file from an optical disc are not supposed to generate the exact same file every time. Like ndjamena said, .mkv files have some extra information to the video/audio/subtitle. Let's just observe the file I just created with MakeMKV with ffmpeg. Input ...
