Re: Burn MKV back to DVD
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=MKV+back+to+DVD&t=ffcm&ia=web Something like Freemake? Never tried it, but it appears to work like a 'pay for' app I used to use. I downloaded that one. When I went to burn, it asked me to click a button and sign up for a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription to ...

Re: Burn MKV back to DVD
I used Handbrake to make an *.m4v file. Will see if the smart TV will play that first. All the programs that I found want money to get rid of the watermark. I am not going to do it enough to pay for it.

Burn MKV back to DVD
What is the best way to burn MKV files back to DVD's?
I know there are many posts here about this, I remember reading some a long time ago, but the search feature isn't helping me any.
Thanks,
Kirk

Help me figure out Playlist Obfuscation?
I see all these posts about playlist obfuscation. Can someone please explain that to me and how to deal with it? Point me to a FAQ by all means if there is one. In the past, I mostly make MKV's from DVD's but have been doing some Blu-ray. I notice sometimes that when I rip one, there are 10-12 huge ...

Re: Robin Hood DVD Fail
Typically, will I hear back with my report, or does it just help to make the program work better?

Re: Robin Hood DVD Fail
OK, plot thickens. I went back to RedBox and rented a different DVD before returning the one I had. I took it home to my MacBook Pro. IT DOES THE EXACT SAME THING. I have the same error messages and the program closes after clearing the error. Exactly the same as on the PC. There has to be a structu...

Robin Hood DVD Fail
I have tried several times to process the newest Robin Hood DVD. It fails every time after about 2 minutes into the actual attempted burn. I get this message "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit". and when I click ok MakeMKV closes. I end up with one file named title_t00.mkv which ...

Thanks, I may do some testing before I decide what to do. If I set up something cool that works well, I will report back.

Re: Capturing more dvds in less time?
This conversation could be helpful: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17640 Thanks. I have tried in the past to open two instances of MakeMKV on one computer with two drives and it seemed like it took twice as long as doing one at at time. It didn't seem that it multi tasked very well. ...

Capturing more dvds in less time?
I have about 1000 DVD's that I would like to rip. (have more than that already finished) I am looking for ideas to do that task faster. Last time I did a bunch, I set up 2 laptops and an old tower next to my main computer and just kept them all going on separate tasks. That did speed up the process....

Jesse Stone, Death In Paradise - FAIL
I have a DVD of Jesse Stone, Death In Paradise. When I click "Open DVD" it finds 4 titles. All of them are previews. None of them are the actual movie file. When I put it in my DVD player, it plays. When I play it on my computer DVD player, it plays. Here is the log: MakeMKV v1.10.0 win(x6...
