JUST those three disks, that is, are other disks ripping fine? If other disks rip fine, then the problem is almost certainly with the disks that are failing. Simply put, errors in reading the disk. Each sector of the disk has extra information in it to tell the hardware if it read the sector correctly. If that information is wrong, the drive is SUPPOSED to say, "I got an error". Usually it will try several times to get a correct read, before r...

Mike will have to confirm with the debug codes, but the uncorrectable read errors are being reported by the drive itself, and the debug codes could be caused by errors the drive did NOT flag as errors.
