I got the same problem, in fact it work with the x86 version but i got the same error message with the x64 version

It doesn't solve the problem but at least you can run MakeMKV in x86

Hello, at the moment, i've install all major update.
I execute successfully MakeMKV v1.9.7, as following the explanation in the thread http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic ... 337#p40899
set APROXY_FORCE_32BIT=1
"C:\Program Files (x86)\MakeMKV\makemkv.exe"
So now it works with MakeMKV x64 but ...

i've not checked if it work on 3D make MakeMKV backup folder but i know that PotPlayer https://potplayer.daum.net/ offer lot of possibility.

i'm glad to say that v1.9.7 works fine now.

i've the same problem, v1.9.5 crash after running it and it happen the same with v1.9.6
When i run it, everything seems ok, windows of MakeMKV appear, but after 2 seconds i got a message "une erreur fatale est survenue, le programme va se fermer"
i'm using windows 7 x64, i'm also using Bitdefender ...
