i created the movie Indiana Jones 4K once with makemkv and once with dvdfab. But I got different data about the codec. I see dolbyvision on makemkv, but not on dvdfab. So, doesn't makemkv seem to be doing better? or is it the same?

I have just flashed my BH16NS55 drive with the sdftool Flasher and got an error. Now the drive has stopped responding. Even if I turn it off and on, I can no longer open the drive and the lamp does not light up either. Has the drive been broken now or can I still salvage it?

I am using the latest version of makemkv on my MAC. Is it possible to extract the subtitles from the UHD disc directly from makemkv into a separate file, for example idx, sub? If yes, how does it work?

after a lot of correct uhd, i got some errors.

Is this rather a hardware/disc related issue or encryption? After stop, makemkv is closed.
