Re: Mixed Results Ripping UHD Discs Using Leaked Keys
Hopefully all the issues are because disks (even with the same UPC #) have different keys, that makes things harder but I'd rather it be that than being a crap shoot with drives. I've got the recommended ASUS drive and have flashed it with a few different firmware for the LG NS50, it working fine wi...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
I also have this drive and I also can't rip this disc (and Spider-Man 2) I can't believe it's an issue with the discs, it's got to be the drive. I'm going to buy an LG hopefully tomorrow to see if that changes things. Have you had success with any UHD disk with this drive? Which LG drive are you tr...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
How does one match the UPC? I haven't seen any information about that - I haven't seen UPCs posted. I suppose it's still possible that discs with different keys are sold under the same UPC. there is a google spreadsheet key database for uhd disks that someone shared on on another forum, it has a UP...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
I just flashed mine back down to 3.0.0 and I'm still getting invalid key error so it must be a problem with the key, that is odd though since the UPC code is the same listed in the key database for this version.

Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
I just received mine and it has the 3.0.1 firmware already installed, can anyone report if they are seeing the same and if so are you successful in using it with UHD disks? I've having an issue with Independence Day 1996 and want to make sure the drive isn't causing it.

Re: Volume Key Help
Best to post UHD issues in the UHD forum: http://makemkv.com/forum2/viewforum.php?f=12 Also I believe (can't find the exact post at the moment) Mike requests do not post keys on this forum. There are multiple versions of UHD discs (country, retailer, rental, etc) and a unique key for each version. ...

Volume Key Help
I picked up a copy of the original Independence Day UHD, the key for the BD is listed and I have an Asus BD-16D1HT drive. I created a KEYDB.txt file and copied the volume key info into it then renamed it to .cfg, then restarted MakeMKV... but it keeps telling me the volume key is unknown and fails t...

Re: Kodi 3D Tagging
From my research it seems what I want to do is add the Stereo flag 13 into the structure of the mkv file, is there an easy way to do this or any other way of flagging the file as 3d for Kodi besides adding it to the file name?

Kodi 3D Tagging
I just started ripping my collection of 3D BD's and for the time being I have to add "TAB.3D" to the file for it to identify a 3DMVC rip. Is there a setting to change so that the frame packed info is coded into the file to avoid renaming? I read through a lot of the 3D thread, but most of ...
