Re: Changing DVD Disc name no longer changes Title names
I have had this happen many times. There is no rhyme or reason when it happens--some discs' fields just don't update. I usually end up copying and pasting into each name field what I need.

Re: Is there a site that lists audio and subtitle tracks?
For forced subtitles, this is pretty good. It isn't 100% accurate, but close enough. It is enough to help you know which movies have them. Just check your movies against the list--it all depends on how you ripped yours as to which number subtitle is forced. Yours might be different; quite a few of m...

Re: Feature Requests: Auto-Eject and Window Title
#2 ONLY if it is an option. I do not want the disk ejecting when I have TV episodes I have to check using VLC or PowerDVD because they are out of order.

For Friends, in the Blu-ray forum search for
Ripping "Friends"
The first result (at least for me) is a thread about this. Three posts from the bottom is where I uploaded a playlist that someone else had made.

Re: Feature request: Preference setting for defaulting to opening disc
I would like to put in a NO vote on automatically ejecting a disk once finished. There are too many TV series disks where the episodes are out of order and one has to use another program to view each episode and compare to the ripped files. Yes, it is an easy thing to push the tray back in, except i...

Re: Community: The Complete Series audio w/commentary only
I have the DVD version and it only has two audio choices: DD Surround 5.1 English and DD Stereo English. The DD Stereo English track is the crap voice-over track. Rip one episode with all checked. Then play with VLC. While the episode is playing, select Audio from the menu to see which track is bein...

I can't validate the accuracy of his choices. But see the attached.

Re: MakeMKV v1.14.7 Isn't ripping DVD
Is there a way to stop the CC>Subtitles from being selected? I just ripped a 6 season TV series that had these subtitles in each episode. I didn't realize having it selected was slowing down the ripping process by an enormous amount. Once I started going thru each of the 8 or 9 titles on a disk and ...

Re: Is the extraction time in the log?
I've often wanted this myself. However, I have found that if you take the size of the file, say 27 GB, and add 4 minutes (in this case to come to a total time of 31 minutes), that that is a pretty accurate rip time.

Re: DVD & Blu Ray Extras...
It could also be that you have your minimum title length set too high to get the extras. Look thru the titles skipped lines to see the sizes of those titles skipped after first scanning the disk. If there are any extras on the disk, you may need to set your minimum length lower to get them.

Re: Why Multiple English (Surround 5.1) Audio Tracks?
I keep seeing questions like this. Personally, I don't care. I rip all English audio tracks. Why? Because no movie is the same. While watching the movie I select the audio track that sounds the best to me. It is impossible to set my sound system so I get the best sound out of one pre-determined defa...

Re: New password for February 2019
Instead of waiting, you can always just turn the date back on your computer to 2 or 3 days prior to the expiration date. The old key works just fine then.

Re: [OPINION] Price is too high
Think of it like this: Use the beta for free. The developer obviously does not have a problem with this. I started using this program back in 2012 and used the beta until I paid $50 in 2017. I've ripped more than 4,000 movies and TV shows since 2012. I've gotten my money's worth. Your usage may impa...

Yes, thanks. I was probably too hasty starting this thread as I apparently got the update shortly after you uploaded it and before you had a chance to post how the parameters work.
Made the change and it works like a charm!

Re: Default naming in version 1.14.0
I do a lot of TV shows and the _t## comes in very handy. For example, I use the season/disk as the name and the title track as the identifier (S1D1_t00.mkv, S1D1_t01.mkv, etc.). That gives me a chance to come back as another disk is ripping and identify which track is which episode and then rename a...
