I tried compiling before updating, then did a 'yum update', then tried compiling again, with no difference. I also rebooted to allow CentOS to load an updated kernel, just to try. Compiling the older version still worked fine after updating all the libraries.

I have the exact same issue, on CentOS 7 here.

I tried recompiling 1.9.2 to make sure nothing changed on my end, and it compiles just fine still.
