Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
What exactly are they doing out there in The Scene? They must have a different flash tool because I doubt they are soldering.

Re: The Legend Of Hercules 3D
Just now inserted this disc to rip to my hard drive.
Was wondering why makemkv did not auto-populate this one. I assume there is no Java code on the disc to process?
Nice work on reconstruction of the playlist!

Super slooooooooooowwwww site
Site is running very slow. Server issues? Site under attack?
No thank you, I don't need a lesson on how hops between me and the destination works. Just asking a simple question.

1.17.6 Slow Rips Pioneer BDR-208
Ever since updating to 1.17.6, not a single time has my Pioneer BDR-208 gone faster than 2.0x on rips. In the past, sometimes it would randomly do a 2.0x and I would simply eject the disc and restart the process. Any thoughts on things I should try? This drive is libre capable, is using that mode, n...

Re: Pioneer firmware update February 2023
Do you know whether there is any information regarding progress / ETA for making it possible to use Pioneer recorder BDR-X13E-S (and many other Pioneer devices with recently updated firmwares) with firmware 1.03 (not libredrive for now) with MakeMKV for UHDs? I for one wish there was a time line. N...

Re: Pioneer firmware update February 2023
I had bought a second BDR-S13UBK and it came with a newer firmware. Strongly considering returning it unless we know reasonably sure there will be a fix in the future. It is unopened and unused to I am not screwing over the merchant.

Re: Problem with Razorback AU UHD?
No, it can't. As SamuriHL said, there aren't any AACS 2.x keys publicly available as yet. Your LG UHD player has it's own set of device keys stored within thus it can decrypt and play them immediately. Or the world has not determined how to read the key from the disc like a set top player does. But...

Confusion: Forced Subtitles
I have a bit of confusion with regards to subtitles. Regardless of the disc, if the film has subtitles, I am always presented with the option to rip subtitles, "PGS forced only". The confusion is that literally less than .1% of the discs I have ripped actually have forced subtitles. Based ...
