I presume by all 8 you mean the new discs? The other discs recycled? I am awaiting my Skywalker Saga set and will also be getting Rogue One 4K, that's 10 titles by common math.

What you describe sounds like normal behavior. MPEG2 is not very efficient and requires 2GB of data for a 1 hour show to be of decent quality.

Very strange... Can you please, without MakemKv or AnyDVD running:

Insert the disc in drive, wait for it to be recognized
Navigate to the files in windows explorer (just to make sure you can see files on disc)
Launch MakeMKV and see what happens.

It is has been my experience that the first title in the list is the one you want to select. You can also tell by the size of the file. This methodology has failed for quite some time. I feel as though the devs are not really looking at much of the DVD side of things. My experience is the rip fails...

When I rip a Blu-ray with PCM Audio, while playing the file in MPC-HC, if I advance a chapter, often times the video is frozen while the audio continues to play. Thanks - this is just what I needed - MakeMKV Java routine picked the wrong source file.

Does Mike view such threads/fix this issue in new releases?
I always fear that no matter how old the disc is, unless he does, it will be the wrong playlist. (LionsGate eat a dick)

[Edit] --- tested just now. With AnyDVD running first, MakeMKV does not crash the disk io system.
Although this is a workaround, it is not a solution.
Just let me know what I can provide to try to help.
