Re: Home Alone (Italian BD+) does not decode
I'd presume you checked off the Create BD+ Log (or is it dump) option and sent that in?

Re: "automatic sdf downloading is disabled or failed" while decrypting
I have not noticed any failures, would the program outright tell me? Anyways, I have not seen any downloads in quite some time. I used to see them once a week or more but it's been a month or more. My copy of the private data file is dated 2/22/2020 and is >12MB. I have the Windows update service di...

Re: Haywire - makes drive system haywire
3:10 To Yuma, another older LionsGate release causes the same issue. I figured out it is partly an impatience thing. MakeMKV tries to look at the disc, the optical drive light goes out, the HDD drive light stays solid. 3 minutes later the system returns. There is a 1 in 3 chance makemkv will not all...

Re: Central subtitle rip/don't rip info???
This seems to be the most complete list I have seen but based on what I see for (forced only) tracks during ripping, it is still not full.

Central subtitle rip/don't rip info???
Is there a thread or google doc somewhere that indicates which subtitle tracks should be carried along when a rip is made? Literally every disc that has subtitles, when inserted will often have half a dozen or more subtitle tracks selected by MakeMKV, and they usually say (forced only) in the descri...

Playlist Obfustication - Do these get fixed?
I regularly am seeing posts about the latest Lionsgate titles and how MakeMKV is selecting the wrong playlist. If I decided to rip the disc say a month later, does Mike fix the issue in the OPD or am I still at risk for getting the wrong playlist that far out? Should we maintain a master thread with...

Re: Bones DVD - Large Tracks
What you describe sounds like normal behavior. MPEG2 is not very efficient and requires 2GB of data for a 1 hour show to be of decent quality.

Re: Haywire - makes drive system haywire
As suggested, I viewed the disc from Windows Explorer without any issues. Next, with the Explorer window still open, I opened MakeMKV. Am now using 1.15.0 --- problem does not seem to present itself any more. At first it looked like it was going to give the same problem, but a few seconds later (may...

Re: Haywire - makes drive system haywire
Will test this tonight.....mike admin wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 9:58 pmVery strange... Can you please, without MakemKv or AnyDVD running:
Insert the disc in drive, wait for it to be recognized
Navigate to the files in windows explorer (just to make sure you can see files on disc)
Launch MakeMKV and see what happens.

Re: Determine correct Lionsgate Title (non-Blu-ray)
It is has been my experience that the first title in the list is the one you want to select. You can also tell by the size of the file. This methodology has failed for quite some time. I feel as though the devs are not really looking at much of the DVD side of things. My experience is the rip fails...

PCM Audio Issue/MPC-HC
When I rip a Blu-ray with PCM Audio, while playing the file in MPC-HC, if I advance a chapter, often times the video is frozen while the audio continues to play. I usually have to pause playback and try resuming to get the video started. Is this an issue with MPC-HC or with the resulting MKV? I know...

All their discs are BD-R discs aren't they? In that case, are they even protected?

Re: Midway
Does Mike view such threads/fix this issue in new releases?
I always fear that no matter how old the disc is, unless he does, it will be the wrong playlist. (LionsGate eat a dick)

Re: Haywire - makes drive system haywire
[Edit] --- tested just now. With AnyDVD running first, MakeMKV does not crash the disk io system.
Although this is a workaround, it is not a solution.
Just let me know what I can provide to try to help.
