Thanks Woodstock but I've tried cleaning it a few times so maybe it's permanently damaged? Could the error be cause by anything else by any chance?

I have tried a number of times to copy this DVD without success. It seems to read/copy a few titles but misses copying the move (it copies all the behind the scene stuff though). I have tried to rip a couple of my child's DVD's and for some reason MKV doesn't save some of the files i.e. if there are 10 files it might only convert 4 and then I get an error message saying 6 files failed.
