I have a friend that have same issue with same movie (but different region, it) with different drive and also with makemkv and different programs too. So there is something strange with this particular movie imo. :o
Glad to know it's not me!

Re: Fail to open Batman vs Superman

I tried a straight backup that failed.
So, I cleaned the disk (which was playing fine on an Oppo player), and this time, I could start to decrypt it.
It's not finished yet, but I did not want to waste more of your time.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Fail to open Batman vs Superman

Here is the SHA1 hash: 579B5A307C31AB13B14F55A001E560DFAD17044F OK, KEYDB.cfg confirms that this disk is indeed a UHD disk (MKBv61). So the obvious question now is "Does MakeMKV say that LibreDrive is enabled?". You need LibreDrive to be enabled before MakeMKV can rip a UHD disk, or even ...

Re: Fail to open Batman vs Superman

Here is the SHA1 hash: 579B5A307C31AB13B14F55A001E560DFAD17044F These days, the hashed keys are inside the .MakeMKV/_private_data.tar file. So as long as this file has been updated, your keys are probably OK Yes, that's up to date. I would imagine that MakeMKV would first need to create the .tgz dum...

Re: Fail to open Batman vs Superman

My apologies, it's been a while since I scanned a physical disk. How do I generate the Unit_Key_RO.inf file? Also, I set up a custom MakeMKV/Data directory, but when I browse it, the keys_hashed.txt file dates from 2018. Shouldn't MakeMKV update it automatically? I did do that: MakeMKV now updates a...

Fail to open Batman vs Superman

Hi, While trying to open this disk: https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01G5W1CUS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I get: Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD IN CDB' occurred while issuing SCSI command A40..002000800 to device 'SPTI:\Device\CdRom0' Error 'Scsi error - ...

Thanks!

Hi, I bought MakeMKV several years ago, and it's in the top 10 programs you need to have on Windows, so kudos to the author(s). I apologize if I am indiscreet, but why keep it in beta for so many years? Like every complex program, a bug pops up of nowhere from time to time, but that never happened o...

Re: [Feature Request] Remove all audio and subs tracks at once

I found a better way: Use the following string:

-sel:all,+sel:video

in the default selection rules in the Advanced tab.

Nothing to do, and all the titles remain selected with BRs holding series.

[Solved] Remove all audio and subs tracks at once

Very often, BRs have a lot of audio and subs tracks, and generally you just want one. Currently (if I'm not mistaken), you have to disable the unwanted tracks one by one. It would be nice to have a button, or a function key, to disable every audio and subs tracks, so that then just would just need 2...

Re: How to do a full structure backup?

Right, my deepest apologies for this breach of the Net etiquette. :) You start MakeMKV, select the BR drive, and use the File -> Backup menu. Or click on the Yellow with a green arrow icon. And by the way, my deepest thanks to the makers of this incredibly simple to use software, I just bought it to...

How to do a full structure backup?

Hi,

Is there a way to do a full decrypted backup, with the complete folder structure and menus?
I don't see a specific profile to do that.
I probably missing something very obvious...

Thanks!

Re: New password for February 2019

It helps the developer, which is a great thing, but it's not the topic of this thread, which is using the free version.

Patience being the key to freedom is a good point, and is a pertinent response. Asking people to buy is just OT.
