Re: Lawrence of Arabia - Restored Version - Blu-ray
Ever figure out with version is the correct one? I kept 00007.mpls/t02.mkv because of it's chapter count. It has 32 vs. the 147 of the other 2 files, 00002.mpls/t00.mkv and 00005.mpls/t01.mkv. Having *147* chapters is very unusual and no movie I've ever come across, no matter the length, has had TH...

Re: Ex Machina
I received 2 bad discs back to back from Netflix. Just gave up; might try to get another one down the road. Seems when this happens, it's a good chance a bad batch is to blame.

"Custom Java executable location" option @ Windows 10
I have a Windows 10 machine running the latest version of MakeMKV, 1.10.2. What do you put in the "Custom Java executable location" field? Is it better just to leave it blank? Researching the forum, I see possible solutions for Linux, but none for Windows. From my understanding, this field...

The only differences between 800 and 801 is switching between 1067 and 1068. Both are 26 second clips that look identical from a quick viewing. -Bill I selected 1067 contained in t02. In 1068 Bob says, "sorry." In 1067 Bob says,"I'm proud to know Americans like you." cherokee_ou...

Cape Fear - Blu-ray
Did a search in the forums for the Netflix blu-ray version of Martin Scorsese's " Cape Fear "; nothing. Looks like there are *2* files for the main feature film. 00800.mpls/t03.mkv @ 2.07.45 01202.mpls/t04.mkv @ 2.07.25 Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. ***UPDATE***: Figured this o...

RE: Problem with Slideshows/Still Galleries
Hello, Sidrack . I see this is a several years old thread with no answers, which is surprising to me. I've had the same question/problem, but searching the forum here, I don't see any answers. It seems that MakeMKV, as awesome as a program as it is, just can't deal with slideshows, still images, etc...

Re: "Fake playlist" protection - help needed
Any news about an alternative to using Dropbox? As mentioned before, I've heard that Dropbox is not safe, is being monitored/tracked. I don't have an account there and don't want to create one. Would really like to contribute as I've run across several BRD's with the problem in question. Thanks again.

Re: "Fake playlist" protection - help needed
This is fantastic, I will do what I can to help. Didn't know what it was called before this thread, but have run into it with several BR discs, including Escape Plan , Sicario and Man Up . One question, though: I have heard that Dropbox is NOT safe and is being monitored/etc. by, shall we say, certa...

Re: John Wick - US Version
I can tentatively confirm that the correct file for the Netflix (U.S.) disk is 0641, as others have already indicated. I'm having a problem, though: even selecting what appears to be the correct file, I am getting scsi errors, device errors and medium errors out the wazoo. currently awaiting the th...

Good lord, this is what I've been looking for! Have been wanting to post something about this subject for a while now and am so glad I took the time to search for this. RE: John Wick - US Netflix Version
Just updating my last post here: I can confirm 100% that what FL-Ronin posted on page 3 of this post/thread is the right file for the Netflix blu-ray version of "John Wick": He wrote: From what I read elsewhere... Netflix Blu-Ray Title information Name: John Wick Source file name: 00641.mp...

Re: Star Wars 1-3 Blu Ray Error 'Scsi error - NOT READY...
My guess is the issue is with the latest version of MakeMKV, 1.9.7. I had the same issue until I reverted to 1.9.6 after getting the same "SCSI Errors" which I never received before. This solution worked for me, good chance it could help you. Check out this thread: http://www.makemkv.com/f...
