For what it's worth, I just successfully ripped a DVD running MakeMKV on the Win10 RTM build. Took a look at the rip and it seems fine. This was the first disc I was even able to get to load in MakeMKV on Win10 in quite a while, so I hope it bodes well! UPDATE: It apparently WAS some kind of fluke, ...

Isn't it possible this change to Windows 10 was intentional and likely to be permanent (to enforce some sort of DRM thing)? If that's the case, then the MakeMKV software will need to hack around it in a later version, right?

I just started getting an RPC Protection error on all previously burned discs, also, as of this Windows 10 build. Have resorted to using a Windows 7 laptop with the current MakeMKV version running on it to avoid the issue.
