Noticed the same. Have switched back to prior version as this is the main way I use the App - to be able to play disks on iPad via VLC.
Any way to convince to keep the steaming feature?

It may help to know what worked using other programs: 1. Play DVD, select main feature and make note of the Title # 2. Use mplayer to capture the video to a file.
