Re: Fatal error after loading Blu-ray disc
Open the registry editor (Start -> type "regedit" or press Win+R and type "regedit"), navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MakeMKV and on the right, delete the path_DestDirMRU entry or double click it and delete the value.

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past
I know this is old, but I just had the same issue not knowing which playlist to choose, so maybe it will come in handy. 800 with 1985.m2ts has a scene where Wolverine gets out of the bed and he's butt naked. You only see him from behind, but still. 801 with 1987.m2ts has that scene in a more child f...

Re: Fatal error after loading Blu-ray disc
I was able to reproduce this today. It appears to happen if you ripped to a network share that is no longer available. The share doesn't even have to be set as default ripping destination, it's enough if you ripped to it at any given point in time so that it's in the history of folders. To fix the c...

Re: Fatal error after loading Blu-ray disc
I just noticed looking at my screenshot that the Output folder input is empty so I thought I might try changing the target location even though nothing has changed, I always had it set to SemiAuto and pointing to my Videos folder. So I tried opening the preferences, and after a few seconds, I got th...

Fatal error after loading Blu-ray disc
MakeMKV suddenly started to crash after loading discs. First time it happened today with Spiderman Far From Home (AACS v71), but after restarting the program, it eventually loaded and copied the movie without problem. Now I am getting the error with Alita Battle Angel (AACS v68) all the time. makemk...

Re: HL-DT-ST BU40N-?
By the way, I used the firmware from BU40N-N in my case as my drive came with v1.03 pre-installed and BU40N-N was the only folder with a 1.03 firmware at first sight.

HL-DT-ST BU40N-?
Just a quick question regarding the firmwares for HL-DT-ST BU40N: What is the difference between the -FR, -N and -U version, I cannot find any of those suffixes on the label of my drive. I assume -B-Japan-Buffalo and -R-Taiwan are, as the name suggests, only valid for drives sold in Japan and Taiwan...

Does anyone have a link to the LG flasher? Getting a 403 if I follow the link from the other forum.
Edit: Nevermind, just used the tool from https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... 16&t=18933

Re: TSSTcorp SE-506AB TS01
I am not even interested in UHD capabilities, it's just the annoying rip-lock for normal Blu-rays. Everytime I want to make a backup to my NAS, I have to wait hours because it's ripping with 2.2x best-case. Some other discs even rip at 0.5x

TSSTcorp SE-506AB TS01
Hey guys, MakeMKV tells me that my drive supports LibreDrive but it's not yet activated. Does that mean that there is a chance an update might remove the rip-lock sometime in the future? If so, are the chances good or rather bad it being an older drive? Is there anything I can do to help?
Cheers
