It's NOT only a limitation in what Windows reports! You are right that normally you cannot copy a eg 30GB File to a shared folder. BUT if you edit your VMX File and add tools.hgfs.volumeInfoType = "max" you are able to copy a large File! But makemkv still gets the error message Therefor i ...
