Long-lived HTTPS connection from 1.18.1?
I'm running makemkvcon on a linux system and I've noticed that at the end of the operation, makemkvcon remains running The drive has gone idle, it no longer has the MKV file open for writing (or reading) but it sits idle waiting for something I can see that the process is holding a TCP connection op...

Re: Se7en steelbook Bluray causes hanging
Ahhh my bad. It looks like it is trying to make an https connection out and it can’t connect (web server might be down) but it did eventually timeout and carry on Figured it out using lsof to see it had opened a connection to a remote ip, and using strace to see it was waiting for that socket connec...

Se7en steelbook Bluray causes hanging
I'm using the command line tool to rip discs and this afternoon I've found a new disc is causing makemkvcon to hang during and "info" request: `makemkvcon info -r dev:/dev/sr0 --noscan` As the command runs, it outputs a normal log of information. After it starts outputting the second title...

Re: Dump Submitted - Watership Down UK
Apologies! I tried adding the line you suggested but it didn't work. I also discovered I'd messed up downloading and installing the latest KEYDB.cfg. I found the latest KEYDB.cfg in fact contained a number of values the film: BD_DAVID3972_WatershipDown U5 8296597 R0 (WATERSHIP DOWN) U5 8296597 R0 (W...

Re: Question to all: MakeMKV without GUI, console only
What do I want as a user I run MakeMKV on a remote server And beyond this, as a user, I don't want to interact with or see MakeMKV at all!! In fact, I have never used the GUI for MakeMKV. I'm entirely on-board with the command line access and I've built some some-what shameful but (for me) extremel...

Makemkvcon, command line, and specifying a custom Java location
Hi all, I'm looking for a way to: 1. Specify a JAVA installation location when using makemkvcon only (headless server only using makemkvcon via shell scripts) 2. Verify that MakeMKV has found and is using Java 3. How to find out which playlist MakeMKV suggests as the main title with fake playlist wo...

makemkvcon and LibreDrive support
Hi all, For the those of us using makemkvcon, could I get some pointers on what I'm looking for? I'm keen to know what I could try to find out if my LG BU40N is supported. I've been using makemkvcon for years on a headless Linux box (with shell scripts mainly) but I've never once used the GUI. In ad...

Re: Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 - rental via RB
Using a player app and process monitor on windows 7, it looks like 871 is the correct playlist for the steelbook version from Amazon UK. I'm ripping now but I've not checked the result yet
