I have what sounds like the same issue. I can play Blu-rays with PowerDVD without issues, but when I try to stream to XBMC with makemkvcon it buffers for about 5 minutes before playing for 20 seconds. Lather, rinse, repeat. Same issue trying to tune in the stream with VLC. I haven't measured the dat...
