The Dark Knight Rises
I have tried multiple times to convert my Blu-ray disc of "The Dark Knight Rises" using MakeMKV. This is a brand new disc so there aren't any scratches or other imperfections. I am using a Samsung SE-506CB/RSBD 6X USB 2.0 Slim Blu-ray Writer External Drive. These are the errors I'm receivi...

Re: VLC crashes when trying to play ripped Blu-ray
With older versions, you need to enter the updated beta key that is posted in the announcements section, under "MakeMKV is free during Beta". Okay, thank you for this. However, I'm still having the problem. A somewhat new development, I was able to convert a chapter of the unplayable file...

Re: VLC crashes when trying to play ripped Blu-ray
I'm not a paid subscriber, so it wouldn't let me use the older versions. I borrowed my friend's registration key just to test it and it didn't work on 1.9.0 or 1.8.9 so I don't know where to go from here.

Re: VLC crashes when trying to play ripped Blu-ray
I found out I have the same problem with the second disc of The Return of the King. Where can I download previous versions of MakeMKV?

Re: VLC crashes when trying to play ripped Blu-ray
I'm using 2.2.0 right now. Should I downgrade and see if it works? Since the movie is split into two discs, I tried using mkvmerge to make Part 1 and Part 2 into one .mkv file and mkvmerge gave me an error, so it seems to be more than just VLC.

VLC crashes when trying to play ripped Blu-ray
I am trying to rip Part 2 of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Extended Edition and it appears to rip okay and MakeMKV doesn't give me any error messages. When I double-click the .mkv file to open it in VLC, the program crashes immediately. It allows me to send an error report to VLC, but I don'...

MakeMKV identifies DVD with incorrect aspect ratio
I am trying to use MakeMKV to convert a DVD with an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 but MakeMKV detects it as a 4:3 aspect ratio. I can confirm that after ripping the DVD, it ends up being the incorrect 4:3 aspect ratio so everything is squished and people look tall and skinny. Here is a screenshot of the Ma...

Re: DVD always freezes at 500.5 MB
I followed your link and have attached links to a zip file of the IFO files as well as the log. When I play the movie on the DVD drive on my laptop, I notice that sometimes the audio doesn't match up perfectly with the video. I don't know if this has anything to do with the errors.

DVD always freezes at 500.5 MB
I am trying to put the DVD of "Mary of Nazareth" on my computer so I can convert it and watch it on my tablet. I own this movie and have no intentions of pirating or distributing copyrighted works, I just want to watch it on a device other than a TV. I don't know if this thing has some sor...
