It's a standard SATA drive, not USB. I also tried a different connector.
I've cleaned the drive and reinstalled it five more times. Unfortunately, no luck. It's broken.
But I don't see any errors, everything looks ok. The motor shaft is fine, too.

I've cleaned the whole thing now—twice, and very carefully. The drive seems to be completely broken now. It doesn't recognize any disks at all.
I've attached a photo of the inside. Does that look okay to you?

No, firmware has absolutely nothing to do with problems reading discs. Try cleaning the lasers.

With a little patience, I think it will be available soon. You can also use Snap as a temporary workaround.

Really, really strange. I bought another disk "Space Pirate Captain Harlock". Same problem. This is an 3D disk. But can't play 3D stream, and when a copy the movie to the HDD i can play only the no3D version. What's going wrong here? No errors. Everthing seems fine...

I do this alway this way, many movies i backuped so on my storage. Please see atteached image. This has worked every time. But nothing plays the 3D from this BR. No mpv, no vlc, no kodi.
