I've read about that, but that can't be it here. I'm talking EVERY disc I put in. Discs from WB, Fox, Universal, MGM, etc. They ALL have the big file duplicated.
Also - if it is the Lionsgate thing, are the duplicated bad in some way? Does it just not matter then?

Why do BD all have multiple files the same size (say 32.3GB)
Why is the same movie on a BD multiple times? All my discs have more than one huge file, they're the same size (tens of GB, so it's the main feature, not an extra). Sometimes one has chapters and one doesn't. But sometimes they are identical. And sometimes there are THREE on a disc. Why? What's goin...

Re: Is there a resource that helps you label all the files?
Thanks, but that's not what I'm asking. You know how you throw a CD in your computer and it auto-populates with the name of the album, tracks, etc? I'm wondering if there's anything like that for MakeMKV so that all the Extras are named for you. Right now I have to play each file (sometimes 50+), tr...

Is there a resource that helps you label all the files?
I'm wondering if there are databases or websites or programs or something that help label all the files you get when you use MakeMKV? I want to save all the special feature files so I can truly put the Blu Ray disc into deep storage in my basement, but not sure what's what with everything just named...

Re: How many people here would buy right now for $10?
I think nearly everyone I know would pay $10 for a piece of software they used more than once. Tens of thousands of smartphones app developers would beg to differ. And before you go on with some weird projections of your own, why not grab an economics book and read up on price theory? Millions of a...

Re: How many people here would buy right now for $10?
Assumptions: Cutting the price from $50 to $10 will result in more sales. Well, to match current revenue, that means at least 5 times as many people have to register. But, 5 times the people means 5 times the support. And 5 times the fees from the payment processor. So net return is DOWN at "o...

Re: How many people here would buy right now for $10?
I don't doubt it's a good value for those who use it. I'm just saying that $50 is a serious sum of money. I'd guess in the last decade, I have bought a handful of software programs. I buy Turbotax every year, I bought Willmaker, and I bought a few versions of Corel VideoStudio. I've never spent more...

How many people here would buy right now for $10?
I've been a user of this program for years, and I've probably ripped 10-20 blu-ray discs. Probably closer to ten. It's just for when my library has a BD and I want to watch it later and not keep others from checking it out basically. Anyway - I want to support the developer. But $50 is really high, ...

Two identical streams for main movie - which to pick?
Mr Peabody and Sherman Blu-Ray. The main movie shows two times in MakeMKV - 0801.mpls and 0802.mpls are identical. Both have a duration of 1:32:29, both have 28 chapters, both are 24.3 GB (everything checked) and when I make MKVs (unchecking everything except main audio track) both are exactly 17,99...

Watch 3D Blu-Ray on PS3 or XBOX Media Extender?
Before I buy a BD Drive for my PC, I want to know if this is possible. Thanks in advance for the assistance. I've got a home theater that runs off of an XBOX360 which runs as a Media Extender for my HTPC Windows Media Center - I use this all the time to play MKV files, works great. It also has a PS3...
