Re: Current version too old
Until he changes that message, when you start MakeMKV, you will have to temporarily set your system date back to prior to 2015-05-25, start MakeMKV, then reset your date to current. Doesn't Mike know I rely on his programme for all my viewing pleasures?! You could buy a copy of ANYDVD HD and CloneB...

If the developer ever decides the beta is over - he will make a fortune as everyone would then would need to buy the product.

Re: Deadpool Subtitles Time/Location
File this under: Why don't we have a website for this yet? I'm working with Deadpool, and there appears to be some foreign/non-English scenes that have English subtitles. Any chance that one of you folks knows when during the movie I should expect to see those? It'd be cool if a website existed tha...

Re: Subtitles empty?
There is a website/document here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... i=1#gid=20 that has a lot of movies and TV Shows listed identifying the type of subtitle and where (in the timeline) to go to see (test) that the subtitle is displayed.
I hope this helps. Good luck

Re: Ripping Two Part Discs
If there are multiple parts/episodes on the same disk, you will need to "check the box" to select each title (episode) you want to rip. Usually these will be the big files, like a couple of GB each, where the extras and commentary are smaller files in the MB range. Then when you rip the di...

I'm not sure - but maybe "MediaInfo". https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo
It's free.
It's free.

Re: 3D MVC Option
lav filters now have a 3dmvc plugin wonder how long until we start seeing more player support.. madVR now supports 3D, so any LAV + madVR capable player (like MPC-HC) will work. I use JRiver Media Center (which has LAV and madVR built-in). Here's a list of players that support madVR (will play 3d) ...

Re: DTS-HD MA - Why are MA and Core both selectable ?
You only need to check the DTS-HD stream; it will automatically take the DTS core and DTS-HD extension to give you the full DTS-HD experience you're after. I have tested this; my PopcornHour C-200 plays it as DTS-HD while my WDTV Live extracts and plays the DTS core since it doesn't support DTS-HD....

Re: I hope Make MKV goes on
People who aren´t in this forum don´t know that. Oh, I see what you mean now. I suppose then, that anyone using the "free" makeMKV version just needs to come back to the forum every-so-often to see what is going on (and look in News and Announcements) - or buy the program and never worry ...

Why do you say it "ends yesterday"? The beta license is good until the end of May. http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1053andi219 wrote:...MakeMkv ends yesterday.I´d like to read something from Mike.

Re: 3D rip, picture out of frame
I'm still learning this too. Here's what I know: madVR with LAV (the most popular combination), will play mkv files in 3D. So any of the popular free players like MPC-HC will work. I use JRiver Media Center (which has madVR and LAV built in). Currently only Side-by-Side (SBS) format works. So all yo...

Re: Can a 3D movie ripped with mkv playback as frame packed?
Thanks for the explanation Spazz. This is all still a little confusing to me. I can get 3D to play, but it always starts in SBS mode. I'm trying to figure out how, or what, makes an mkv movie start playing in SBS or frame packed or T/B . Is there something in the mkv file header that tells the TV ho...
