Have tired going out from the mac mini both Intel and a newer mac mini 1 (which I had ment to move over to, both did not work.

Then tried what your were talking about ... short to the power strip from the mini or Intenl, then tried stright out of the mini to the dvd plaver. No go... then tried ...

Tried that bought 2 new really good metal wrapped usb cables 2-6' ft =12 ... no go

Bought 30' optial usb cable ... still no go ...

The disk starts to load ... then it starts kicking out error and code

I'm 82 and handicapped ... Have been using my current set up ... Mac mini on a full desk at the ...

I'm a bit confused as to what exactly you're referring to. If you meant the Title selection boxes in MakeMKV, right-click -> Unselect all works for me (Windows).

If you don't care for extras, you can limit what gets displayed based on length:
View -> Preferences -> Video -> Options: Minimum title ...

Is there any way to deselect ALL checked boxes for chapters

On some disks ALL boxes total over 200 + which must be deselected in order to process the data ... Or one is looking at 200 + chapters which in some cases total well over 6 thousand GB of data

Yes, USB from the "player" into a Mac mini late 2012 ... 8GB ram/1TB HD, connected to an Apple Thunderbolt display using Apples cabling and on the Mac mini Thunderbolt out port that cable goes to a LaCie 3TB by Thunderbolt

The player is the only thing which is USB

The disk may be flawed ... Don't ...

Yes a LaCie USB 3 ...

All others disks have not had the problem ...

I washed it and then dried it very carefully and was able to play it, on the LaCie player, viewing through Blue-Ray Player® software

Thought I had it fixed and started trying to copy ... repeated tries with no success
