Re: John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum
Some movies, I want to add to my collections. Others, I wait until they are on a rental service, like Red Box. John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum is exactly in this category. If I wat to add a movie to my collection, I buy it; I own around 400 Blu-Ray discs. I have two different pieces of software fo...

Re: Unrestricted Read Speed: Possible, Not Yet Enabled
I just noticed this when I opened MakeMKV and was curious myself what it meant. Just out of a curiosity, how long of a wait are we likely waiting to have this enabled? I'm assuming that this will allow for much faster ripping? I was looking at the specs for my Blu-Ray drive and under read speeds, it...

Re: BD or UHD no longer work
I've had this issue, but all of a sudden, with no change of anything, it started working again... for physical discs. I had two discs that I had borrowed that wouldn't unlock, so I made a backup. After ripping two physical discs, I tried to open the backups, and again, I get an error: The volume key...

Re: No longer able to read encryption keys
Thanks... I guess I was using the wrong keywords in my search but that is exactly what my issue was. Having done absolutely NOTHING different, after seeing that discussion, I tried one more time and strangely, it started working again as normal... at least for one disc so far.

No longer able to read encryption keys
I've been using MakeMKV for at least a couple years now but yesterday, it stopped being able to open Blu-ray discs. I do not know what happened or why it stopped working. It makes an AACS Dump file but ends with: The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted Failed to open disc ...

Mapped network drives and Windows 10
I'm not exactly sure where my new issue with MakeMKV is taking place but I am no longer able to see mapped network drives. I have recently had to rebuild my desktop from scratch (catastrophic primary hard drive crash) and replaced it with a new solid state drive, so I upgraded to Windows 10 from Win...
