Re: Please help with audio on War BR
Strange. I normally do the top 2 audio tracks - e.g. DTS MA and DD or some such combination and usually both work. When it is LPCM and DD the LPCM won't play back but the DD will. I converted just the video and DD this time with makemkv and at least it was able to playback the audio now. I've never ...

Re: Please help with audio on War BR
Sorry, I missed that. Does it refuse to play completely? When you convert it with DVDFab, does that include converting the video? When you re-encode the audio with MakeMKV do you remove the second audio stream or convert that as well? Can you post the MediaInfo output of a file that doesn't play? I...

Re: Please help with audio on War BR
If you've tried re-encoding each of the audio streams into different codecs you should know nothing would be kept that would interfere with playback, but there are at least two other tracks in the file. Can you play it back with other player software? What do you mean by "can't stream"? D...

Please help with audio on War BR
Hello, I'm trying to convert War (the movie with Jet Li and Jason S) using MakeMVK 1.8.14. I've converted 300 BR discs so far and this is the first one no matter what I try my Oppo (with the latest firmware) can't stream. I often have trouble with one track such as LPCM but DD or DTS or some other a...

Re: Changing Audio track info - Oppo can't play audio - Not
While this isn't the solution - a work around to get it playable was to select profile in MakeMKV - top right corner under make MKV icon and select flac. I also converted it with DVDfab 9 and it plays back as well.

Changing Audio track info - Oppo can't play audio
Hello, I read a thread on this a long time ago but can't recall the answer. There was a way of changing the audio track info after you converted the BR to MKV but I don't recall what it is. I converted Cars. I know the audio track could play back as it plays on my PC but for some reason it won't pla...

Re: Cars fails
I've converted 2 copies of Cars - both come up on my Oppo as audio not supported - doesn't matter if I try to select another audio track.

Re: Best way to edit the name field
Maybe it's not under title but under name? You an also verify with in Mediainfo. THANKS for sticking in there. The physical filename is Captain_America_The_First_Avenger.mkv I have it open in header editor. Segment information - segment filename - greyed out, along with next and previous Video trac...

Re: Best way to edit the name field
Open mmg, open header editor, open mkv, edit field, save. Thanks for helping! It turns out the title looks right in header editor. I can't figure out why it is coming up with the wrong info for Captain America. I don't think the Oppo indexes or assigns any values on its own. I'll try to figure out ...

Re: Best way to edit the name field
Thanks - I tried mkvtoolnix however from what I read there were 2 ways of fixing it. One remixes the file - not sure if I should be concerned and the other doesn't. I couldn't figure out to get the other way to work. If someone can walk me through that, I would appreciate it.

Best way to edit the name field
Hello, I make a copy of the first Captain America movie from BR and it lists on my Oppo as CA - Winter's Soldier (which is the second movie). Short of redoing the mkv is there a way to easily edit the field. I admit I'd like to rename many of them - particularly those that begin with The so my oppo ...
