Re: No beta-key for June -2016
Funny that Avangate processes after the issues they had stemming from the big DVDFab shutdown. Anywho, since predictions are all the rage on Mike right now I'm going with my experience with small dev teams and placing my bet on vacation. Leaving for vacation and not bothering with little things like...

Re: Windows 10 install, no makemkv.exe
When in doubt, post to virustotal.com If you get multiple hits with major virus engines, not a good sign, if you get just a few with them all having fairly generic descriptors (Trojan.Gen for example) it's likely a false positive that you'd want to submit to the particular company for review. If you...

Re: Backup failed, on one machine
Inexplicably it is failing only at the command line using makemkvcon64 backup disc:0 C:\Temp\ --decrypt or as suggested for mkv makemkvcon64 mkv disc:0 all C:\Temp\ and yet using the UI is completing successfully. If I didn't have the second machine available to me I'd think I had a syntax error. Wh...

Re: Backup failed, on one machine
Trying to copy all titles to mkv produced similar details which I'll paste first below, info produced the second set posted below, I don't see any additional helpful details sadly. I should probably mention just to be thorough that I am using makemkvcon64 on Windows 7 x64 in case there's somehow a d...

Backup failed, on one machine
Have a new to myself machine specific issue. It's been a few months since I've used the entire backup feature as I like to do with certain titles from time to time but I seem to be unable to backup discs on one of my machines all of a sudden, it seems to work fine with other methods/applications but...

Re: Avatar, TLOEG: Unrippable Blu-ray Discs?...
Some older discs that should work fine, indeed an error log would be needed if you are having an error displayed. If it's anything like my experience with 1.9.3 though you may want to downgrade and try 1.9.2 as my first two attempts with U.S. release titles John Wick and X-Men Origins were a failure...

Re: DRAFT DAY proper Title selection for Blue Ray Disc
JackFrost: Depends on the program you're using, this being MakeMKVs forum you would expect responses based upon what it shows, for instance when you highlight a title after scanning the disc the right hand section will show you Source playlist details, Duration, Chapters, Size, Segment Map and file ...

Re: DRAFT DAY proper Title selection for Blue Ray Disc
Decided to finally register to chime in on this one since there's surprisingly very little postings so far on this title, usually you see multiple for padded discs. At any rate, you guys commenting on this thread may or may not be aware that a lot of movies on disc these days have multiple release v...
