Application Failed to Initialize
Installed v1.12.2 on a new system running win 7 on a Ryzen 7 2700x. Upon attempting to run I get a "Application Failed to Initialize" error and won't proceed. Checked User account controls and there doesn't seem to be a problem. Every now and then, for no rhyme or reason, it just ups and r...

Re: Application failed to initialize
Running win 7 new install on Ryzen 7 platform. Makemkv 1.12.0 and 1.12.2 both "Failed to Initialize" suddenly today. Been working fine on the system for the past week. Windows Defender disabled. Norton firewall running but when disabled makemkv still won't start. This is a CRITICAL app for...

Re: Ice Age Collision Course
I had exactly the same experience trying to load the disk with PowerDVD. However, the disk does work fine in a conventional bluray player that is not connected to the internet. Makemkv reports 4 possible mpls files, 800, 801,802 and 803. And, it says it needs a FUT. I was hoping for some direction h...

Re: The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 2015 US Release Blu-r
It would seem in a lot of cases most every version of a particular title found at Netflix, Red, Retail and rental store versions, vary in some way. Lionsgate disks are always challenging. Using PowerDVD and Process Monitor, I discovered that the actual MPLS being used by PowerDVD was written to a di...

Re: The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 2015 US Release Blu-r
None of the recommendations worked for me. After a bit of sleuthing around I determined the correct source mpls on the version I have to be 600.

Re: Multiple Instances
I have two blu-ray drives and on some rare occasions have used both drives running under multiple instances of Makemkv. It's a bit quirky to start up but it works. I was curious however about the limitations of running multiple instances such as operating systems, memory, processor cores and so on. ...

Re: Exodus: Gods and Kings
Just watched the actual bluray and now I'm okay that I didn't waste precious hard drive space on it. That applies to approximatly 50% of movie releases , although the dumber the subject matter the more popular a film seems to be with the newest generation . Played this on a Pana bluray player mostl...

Re: DRAFT DAY proper Title selection for Blue Ray Disc
Thank you for your effort in tracking this down. Curious as to how you did it though since all titles had the exact time.
