Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
Hi. I just installed this, along with MKVToolNix v19 and for every disk (dvd) i have tried I get "Analysis Failed" Am I doing something wrong? Does it work if you analyse the disks directly with MakeMKV without using BatchMKV? If yes, is the path for MakeMKV specified correctly in the Bat...

Is this still a dead-end or did you find a solution?

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
I have found a bug. When the track name contains a colon the conversion fails. The status for the track says "Could not move output file to destination." I assume it's because windows doesn't allow colons in file name, and when I remove the colon the conversion succeeds. This should be fi...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
Version 0.7.0 is now available. See the 1st post of the thread for links to changelog and download. There are still several reported issues that I have not had the time to fix yet. They will be fixed in due course, as my time and schedule allows. IMPORTANT: I've merged the main and the beta branch. ...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
I have been testing your application and I am trying to understand how to view the details of any errors that are thrown by MakeMKV for each title processed. I have enabled error logging and I see the MakeMKV output to a file in the Event Viewer when a new file is analyzed – this appears to be the ...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
Hi just installed your program and trying to analyze a blu ray folder structure on my NAS. I get an error that it failed to analyze and a pop up that says "You are trying to start MakeMKV evaluation from a third party application. Please launch MakeMKV if you would like to start the evaluation...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
Okay, I am sad to see that this thread has gone dead. I will probably need to have a look for another solution, to bad though, this SW seemed to have everything I needed. Hi, Neither thread nor software has gone dead. I appreciate all the feedback I've received and I will look at the issues. The si...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
Just to be sure, if you look at the actual title, are the subtitle tracks selected as expected? What do you mean by that? I can only select the Video and the Audio, Subtitles are not displayed in the selection window. I thought that would be "normal". That's absolutely not normal, it shou...

You don't get an "output tracks not as expected" error in that case?

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
If I use MakeMKV directly the subtitles will be perfectly included in the MKV, if I use batchMKV they seem to be missing. I tried it on different players (Kodi, PowerDVD and WMP) on all with the same result. If I change the settings from include only favourite to all subtitles it does also not chan...

Re: Omit File name suffix "t01", "t02", etc.
If you're using Windows, there's a batch GUI for MakeMKV which can do what you want. It's called BatchMKV (I'm the author), and it has a tag-based naming feature for both the title name and the filename.

Re: Feature Request: File Names Based on Segment Map
I added a {segment-map} tag to BatchMKV which is a batch conversion program that uses MakeMKV behind-the-scenes. BatchMKV has a tag naming feature which can be used for title name and filename (see the Title tab under Settings). If interested, it can be found here . The {segment-map} tag is currentl...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
I updated the "beta branch" of BatchMKV to include a new drag-and-drop feature - meaning you can drag-and-drop folders and/or files (any combination) to the source list (left-most list) to scan for sources. The beta is available here . I will be merging it into the main branch shortly, whe...
