Interesting.... Running MakeMKV while whatching kern.log, I, too, see I/O errors. I've got my BD drive attached via a SATA to USB(2) adapter at the moment, so I wonder if this may be the source of the problem. Thanks for the tip.... but it did not work. I tried setting the buffer size down in steps, finally ending up at 64.... each run took longer because of the decreasing buffer size, but all still ended in the Posix memory allocation error. I watched system resource usage with each iteration, and, even ...
