Re: Original firmware for HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH40N (FW GA05) after failed WH16NS60 flash
Hey everyone . . . I think I may have inadvertently created a paperweight or a coaster with my Blu-ray drive. I've tried every possible combination to fix it, but nothing has worked. If anyone has the original firmware (GA05) or any other suggestions, I would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks! Y...

Can you please send me a firmware that unlocks this?
Thank you very much.

Re: I'm nervous about buying a late 2015 LG drive - Need help deciding if I should get it
I have an offer to buy a LG WH14NS40 that was manufactured in November 2015. The label on it says ROM version 1.00, and I also have the S/N for it. Is it possible to know if it supports 4K without physically having it? It's on offer for 40$. Thanks! You need to ensure the WH14NS40 has SVC NS50. Bef...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025
I need a little help if someone would be so kind. Trying to flash a new BU40N (LG) from 1.05 to 1.03, using Terminal on MacOS. I'm getting a Drive Not Found error. It definitely sees it in the cmd just before. Would someone please take a look and see if perhaps I'm doing something wrong? TIA! -jsco...
