Never move the drive while it's on had lot of people do that when I was first selling bu40n and it does not turn out well it will scratch your discs and your laser it will be dead

I cleaned the laser and the drive was able to read a 4K disc, but makemkv threw a read error halfway through the rip. I re-cleaned the laser and now the drive is back to not reading 4K discs. It can still read and rip 1080p blu rays without any issues. If anyone has additional troubleshooting ideas...
