Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2023
Hey, All this guy was told here was that he "killed it" by whatever he did (what was that?), but what he pointed out is really true: BH14NS40 status in the FAQ and forums is very contradictory. I care because I have that same drive (only mine is v1.02) and I still can't figure out if my d...

Re: Aliens 4K (Ultimate Collector Edition)
Been away for a while. With the third copy (returning the first two), I've been able to rip the disc without any issue. Even if the disk was looking super clean to the eye and play well in my Panasonic player. It really was something about the disk. try a pioneer drive you been through 3 sets of di...

Re: Internal slim line in NZ
The LG BU40N is tray loading, I would need a slot-in drive. Found this post from Billy: The pioneer xs07s flashed to xs07uhd from me is slot load and works with UHD contact details below if you want one Waiting on a reply from him on availability. Already replied to you and I said I don't ship to N...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
So, just ordered one of the BDR-212DBK off Amazon from that link. At the least the one from my local amazon warehouse seems to say manufacture date Jan 2024. I'll confirm when I get home, had someone grab it for me when they took the dog out since it's storming. Do they generally ship with older fi...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Are you saying that getting a BDR-212DBK off Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081R5CS4L) or the BDR-212V (btw, any significant difference between these 2?) would likely come with patchable firmware? (no UHD support obviously but can still enable Libre Drive support?) Then I can return the BDR-213...

Re: Pioneer firmware update February 2023
Thanks, that clears out some things. Unless you have a strong aversion to it (or got a great deal on your current drive), I'd return the drive you bought and buy a LibreDrive capable drive from a seller. Your new-drive-money might as well buy you freedom from rare edge cases as well. I guess it com...

Re: Ghosbusters: Frozen Empire
I am new to this so I am not sure at the moment how to check for that Disc ID number mentioned up above. I am able to confirm that Make was able to back-up the UHD from the Steelbook without any issue. Already validated the playback of the file. (I am unsure how to access any of the extra features,...

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
At least I still have my Pioneer for 1080p Blu-rays and SD DVDs. And while not anytime soon, who knows. Maybe Mike might figure out another work-around. If he does, I'll find out what the latest firmware compatible with that work-around is won't perform an update if it either hasn't been tested or ...
