Re: BDR-212EBK or BDR-212M
So, I got lucky and found local seller for Pioneer drive who sold it to me at price that is embarassingly low for the market prices these days. I'm happy with the drive, but the seller sold it to me as "BDR-212EBK", however it shows up "BDR-212M" on MakeMKV. Drive platform is RS...

Re: PSA: New Archgon UHD drives do not allow flashing
I bought the drive not knowing that the new version does not allow flashing. Is there any hope? Would changing the enclosure help (I'm guessing, given current discussions), but if yes, what should I get? Thanks a lot for your help in this. removing it from the case will make it flashable and usable...

The RECOVER method of SDFtool Flasher works. I've done it before with a BH16NS55 flashed to BU40N firmware. You may not be able to use it as you have most likely fucked your drive by flashing original BU40N firmware to it. You should NEVER have doen this. Simply changing the version number does not...

I have ran the tool and completed the command line attempt, Everything comes back successful. I cannot get this BU50N to swap to a BU40N. I have tried both the BU40N_1.00 and the BU40N_1.03_MK in the old "all you need Firmware Pack" and the BU40N-1.03-NM...... .bin file. I cannot for the ...
