It's not flashed follow the guide or buy an automated flasher from me or Mary that does it all correctly for you

Same result unfortunately. I'm just gonna give up on HDR ripping and use my dedicated drive for it. Not as convenient as solid state but it's fine. you have something messed up in mpc or your output settings then as it works fine for me hdr is perfectly preserved. try the jriver free trial with hdr...

It likely your playback hardware not supporting h.265 decoding.
Or your Plex server is trying to live encode it down to a lower format.
What's your playback hardware specs?
