Billy- are these motors brushless types? If not, something containing silicone is the worst you can use since it increases wear big time on motor brushes. Even if not applied directly the silicone will spread within the drive and will cause wear. Petroleum based grease would be worse because it deg...

You don't grease the belt it would slip
The rails and motor shaft you can use silicone paste it the safest and non reactive but really not needed for many years

I think you need to specify more about how you need to modify the OWC case to get the drives to fit. thx, but MakeMKV does not show any change in firmware. It is true that Disc information is now showed, but not playable. (I tried 3). It does copy content to disk.
